I don’t believe normal exists. There is a normal way to live to an extent. Having a job, being self-sufficient, having relationships are characteristics of a normal life. People can in some ways have a normal life but have odd interests or idiosyncrasies which deviate from the norm.
My experience is that I have been told by people that I am weird or different throughout most of my life. I haven’t ever felt like I was normal as far as I can recall. I generally feel a combination of happy and sad. I am somewhat depressed sometimes but I still am able to enjoy life. I am not miserable.
I am objectified due to my disability but the people who are objectifying me do not know I have a disability.
